Ximena Navarrete (born Jimena Navarrete Rosete on February 22, 1988) is a Mexican model and beauty pageant titleholder who was named Nuestra Belleza México 2009 and Miss Universe 2010
Navarrete was born and raised in Guadalajara, the capital city of Jalisco, Mexico. She is one of two children, born to dentist parents Carlos Navarrete and Gabriela Rosete.
She began modeling locally at the age of sixteen, and studied nutrition at the Valle de Atemajac University, prior to taking part in the pageant world
On August 23, 2010, Navarrete was named Miss Universe, making her the second Mexican delegate to win the title, after Lupita Jones in 1991.
Both were crowned in Las Vegas, Nevada
